Talkback FeaturesThe talkback module has several modes that make it very easy to integrate into your room. All of the features are determined by plug in modules, that get inserted into the rear of the talkback panel.

The use of an external dynamic microphone, greatly improves the sound quality and intelligibility of the talkback.

Connections and Controls

  • Balanced stereo cue feed inputs on Molex rear panel connectors
  • Balanced stereo cue feed outputs on Molex rear panel connectors
  • Relay switch following talk button on Molex rear panel connector
  • Front panel XLR input for talkback gooseneck microphone, or stub microphone
  • 12V power input for powering the module
  • Momentary illuminated push to talk button
  • Rotary talk level control on the front panel
  • Plug in modules to determine mode, and mix/dim levels of talk with cue feed

Modes

  • Permanent talk output, mono or stereo outputs
  • Switched talk output, mono or stereo outputs
  • Switched talk, replacing the stereo cue feed
  • Switched talk, mixing with the stereo cue feed, dimming the feed

Integration

  • With Crookwood products, pressing talk will dim the control room speakers
  • Multiple talkback panels can be linked together for producer/ engineer talkback
  • Destination routers can be added to selectively route talkback

Physical

  • 173mm high x 35mm wide x 30mm deep. Allow extra depth for connecting audio to the panel
  • 12V-20V DC @30mA power required for operation.  We can provide an external PSU to provide this if required
  • Directly powered off Crookwood products
  • Matching Molex connectors provided.
