Paintpot Options

The Paintpot will work by itself as a traditional mic preamplifier.

However it can also be fitted with or excellent internal ADC, or it can be remote controlled by our compact remote control panel.

Internal ADC

The Paintpot is already equipped with all of the digital connectors, ready to accept our excellent internal ADC card. This is a special design, using a SRC (sample rate converter) to isolate the ADC from the AES data stream. What this means is that the ADC sounds great whether it's beimng run off it's local clocks, or via exteral wordclock.  The quality of the wordclock doesn't matter, the ADC just reject all jitter!

The internal ADC can be fitted by yoursef with just a few regular tools.

Remote Controller

The Paintpot doesn't need the remote controller to work, but when you remote control it, you can save and recall presets as well as the sonic benefits you can get through remote control ( read more here).

The controller connects to the Paintpot via a mic cable and can control up to 16 Paintpots. It can also control our larger iPre multichannel preamps, or any combination of iPre and Paintpot.
