overviewThe Crookwood M10 is the most powerful surround mastering console available. It links together all your existing analogue and digital machines, DAWs, outboard processors, monitors and meters, and then routes and controls them all from a compact set of control panels.It is equally at home with stereo or surround sources.

Whilst its design and pedigree gives it impeccable sound quality, its this unique integration that gives the console its real power. With this you can work faster, and with more confidence.

 Physical

  • Modular design - specify what you need, expand it, cost effectively as your needs grow
  • Compact control panels - low acoustic impact and easy to use
  • Remote audio hardware - no fans and easy to install and wire to
  • Connect all of your gear to the M10, it does everything else - patch free, instantly and sonically pure

Monitoring

  • Stereo Monitoring: up to 2 analogue and 4 digital external machines plus converter inputs - DAWs, ipods, ATR, CDs and legacy machines
  • Surround Monitoring: up to 3 analogue and 2 digital machines, plus converters
  • Listen also to 4 internal monitor points - Transfer AD, DA, source and console output
  • Each source has it's own monitor trim level - A/B any source to any other
  • Choose the monitor DAC to use to monitor digital sources from a pool of converters - use the best DAC for each job.
  • 3 speakers plus headphone output, each with its own level - connect everything, move between speaker sets with ease!
  • Unbalancing card available for driving unbalanced speakers.
  • Internal headphone amplifier card available for driving headphones, or use your preferred external amplifier
  • Over 8 stereo Mono, Phase and Mute checks - diagnose any audio faults
  • Up to 12 surround Solo, Phase and folddown checks to help you simulate different surround environments
  • K cal on all speakers - work to your preferred level and conquer the loudness wars.
  • Optional full featured bass manager to properly integrate stereo or mono subwoofers into your main speakers, in surround or stereo.

Transfer (Record)

  • Choose the source for the record path from any of the monitor sources - patch free and perfect
  • Connect all of your external processors (up to 11 analogue and 4 digital) and insert what you want, in the order you want, into the record path
  • Surround analogue and digital inserts are also available
  • Choose the DAC and ADC for the analogue path from a pool of converters - use the best converter for the job
  • Add 2 sets of level trimmers for the analogue path - optimise L&R levels after compression
  • Add selective MS processing - MS any analogue processor or processors to get the balance you want
  • Run parallel analogue processing - mix together 2 separate paths, choose what's in each path
  • Automatically copies the final output to all digital machines - patch free recording and dubbing
