C3 Models and Options

There are 3 basic C3 models.

Each model has very similar monitoring facilities, but a different number of inputs. As the number of inputs and inserts grow, some extra features become available and the size of the control panels also increases.The C3-2AS is a very inexpensive way to get Crookwood monitoring quality to your production room, while the C3-16AS has all the inputs you'll probably ever need. On all of the C3s you can accurately A/B any source with any other, by removing any level differences.

Between these 3 models, we can accommodate the vast majority of your analogue monitoring needs.

The three models are:

• C3-2AS (C3 with 2 analogue sources)
• C3-8AS (C3 with 8 analogue sources)
• C3-16AS (C3 with 16 analogue sources)

This table shows you the difference between the 3 basic models:

 In addition for each controller, you can specify any of these options:

• -TP:  dual stereo trimmer module and MS controller. For pre and post level control and MS manipulation. This module can be connected to an analogue record path
• -DA: our excellent internal DACs, ideal for monitoring a digital source
  
• -AD: our equally excellent ADCs, ideal for recording conversion back to the DAW
  
• -BM: true bass management for additional subwoofers, mono or stereo
• -DS: digital speaker output for driving digital speakers
• -VU: stereo analogue VU meters, with built in attenuator for correct operation. Available in 2RU or standard front panel package
• -TB: stereo talkback module, for talkback mix or replace of stereo cue feeds
• -GP: GPIO control panel to send and receive up to 8 contacts
• -CN: connector kits, Dsubs, XLR patchbays, or snakes
• -KT: mounting kits, wooden pods, 19" mounting or mount in studio furniture

Beyond these options we have a full custom department that can modify an C3 to be virtually anything you want!
