Choosing a Crookwood Mastering Console
Our M class of Mastering Consoles comprises 6 models, with lots of options, so you can find a console that's right for the way you work. We have models covering stereo and 5.1 surround work, and depending on the model, they provide full facilities for just analogue processing, just digital processing, or simultaneous analogue and digital processing.
Each console has
- a full featured monitor controller
- a monitor source selector
- a transfer (record) path selector
- an insert switcher box, where you can transparently place any inserts, in any order, into the record path
- automatic insertion of DA and AD converters into the signal chain.
- Optionally you can add analogue level and MS processing to any or all inserts - you choose.
M1 Analogue and Digital Stereo Mastering Console
The M1 is our flagship stereo mastering console. It is designed for MEs that want to work with digital and analogue processors at the same time, all routed from one system. It seamlessly lets you listen to analogue and digital sources, across multiple speakers, or with multiple DACs. You can record from analogue and digital sources, through analogue and digital outboard, placed in any order. There is nothing else like it available, anywhere.
M10 Analogue and Digital 5.1 Mastering console
The M10 is our flagship 5.1 surround mastering console. It is designed for MEs that want to work in stereo and surround with digital and analogue processors from one control panel.You can listen to analogue or digital sources, across multiple speakers with full surround facilities, or with multiple DACs. You can record from analogue and digital sources through analogue and digital outboard placed in any order. It has full surround monitoring and check features, plus options for analogue and digital 5.1 inserts.

M2 Digital Stereo Mastering Console
The M2 is our digital stereo mastering console. It is designed for MEs that want to work with digital processors in a logical manner, rather than mathematically through a digital router. It quickly lets you listen to any digital source, across multiple speakers, or with multiple DACs. You can record from digital sources through digital outboard placed in any order, with a few button presses, rather than convoluted router manipulations.

M20 Digital 5.1 Mastering Console
The M20 is our digital surround mastering console. It is designed for MEs that want to work in stereo and surround with digital processors without the clumsiness of a digital router. You can instantly listen to any digital source, across multiple speakers. You can record from digital sources through digital outboard placed in any order. It has full surround 5.1 monitoring features, and can have 5.1 digital inserts.
M3 Analogue Stereo Mastering Console
The M3 is a great analogue stereo mastering console. It is designed for MEs that want to work with analogue processors and perhaps an external digital router. The M3 lets you listen and A/B analogue sources, across multiple speakers. You can easily record from analogue sources through analogue outboard placed in any order, transparently placing them in the chain with a click of a button.
M30 Analogue 5.1 Mastering Console
The M30 is our analogue 5.1 mastering console. It is designed for MEs that want to work in stereo and surround analogue processorsr from one control panel. It's based on the stereo M3 console, but with full surround monitoring and optional surround analogue inserts. It is very powerful.
